2 more days

Killer Kurves starts this week.  I helped make copies of the material for this program today.  I think this is going to be a great program.  I think with the work that we do at boot camp and the homework we have to do at home, this program is a  win-win.

There is a good size group starting this program.  Some are currently from bootcamp. Some have never been to one before.  I want to be a role model of those that have not been to a program like this.  I am happy to have a head start on this.  I just need to get my eating under control.

Tomorrow I had to the clinic to have blood work taken.  On tuesday, I head to the doctor.  I have to get a note for clearance to join the K2 program.  Talk about embarrassing.  But it is what it is.  But I also think it will be a good base line to get for a starting weight from them.

I will report more on tuesday!

 Good night.

Money and fitness are my big goals for the start of the year.

Today I signed up for Dave Ramsey course.  It will last a little over 2 months.  I have heard great things about it.  I will be going to an info session next week wed to find out more about it,

By April...I want to be lower in weight and have a higher savings account total.

2013

For 2013...
this is the year of the AFTER picture
this is the year of a family vacation
this is the year of paying off debt

I can do this, This is the year!

Killer Kurves

I have been doing boot camp for about 4 years. I love it. I love the people. I love the work outs. I love the trainers. But I need something more. My mind has finally clicked. This new program is perfect timing.

It is called Killer Kurves. It is a 3 month program. It will blend the boot camp with behavior modification. Which is where I have problems. I can think about doing the right thing while at boot camp but once my day gets going I eat like crap.

But like I said, my mind is in the right place. I have cut the McDonald's crap out. I was eating there too many in a week. I would sneak there during lunch as I was running errands/ deliveries. I have finally able to cut that out. Now for these 3 months.....no McDonald's!

This program starts Jan 8. I will go bc the same days I currently go but at a different location. A little nervous about that. But kind of excited to meet new people. My goal during this program will be to lose 30lb during the 3 months. More would be wonderful but that will be a great place to start.  I think this will be a great foundation to a fabulous 2013.

Game on!

Day 5

The first week is almost done of my 100 day challenge. As I sit here with ice on my legs I think it was a good week. We have done more running at bootcamp today and I am feeling it. But I am glad that I went 3 times this week.

Today was a tough day to go. We scraped last night and thank goodness it was not a late night. But I just wanted to sleep. But I got up, got ready and went.

I think I need some motivation to not miss 1 during this 100 days. I will have to think of a reward to give up if I skip a boot camp....hmmm...what do I want??

Things to work on....I need to journal my food. Always been a problem. Need to just make it a habit.

Day 2....bootcamp and blogging! nice start.

consistency is key.

consistency is key.

I need to keep with this, I am taking 2 steps forward and 1 back..blah blah. enough. I will turn 33 shortly after this 100 day challenge is done. I really want to be in a better place. I feel that I am in a good place now and I want to keep with this. I need to remember the feeling I have after bootcamp. Love that group. great people. great motivators!

day 2....it is go time!

Day 0

Going to take the next 100 days to challenge myself to do better at getting healthy. Today was not a great day so I am going to start tomorrow....always easier to start a good thing the next thing day, right?

I figured out that basically summer will be over in 100 days and I want to see a difference in myself. So starting June 7th, 2010 and ending September 14, 2010 will be my 100 day challenge. I know there are other blogs out there that do something like this but this is for me. I will set my goals and rewards.

Goals:
Bootcamp - I can miss only 5 times this summer...not including the week we are gone to mn.
Eating - NO MCDONALDS!! eating the fruit and veggies that are going to be in my CSA basket...I can't wait to start getting this.
Budget - updating and staying on budget. I need to start saving more.
Journal- I will blog about this fun adventure!

100 days...I can do this. Wish me luck.
