Day 5

The first week is almost done of my 100 day challenge. As I sit here with ice on my legs I think it was a good week. We have done more running at bootcamp today and I am feeling it. But I am glad that I went 3 times this week.

Today was a tough day to go. We scraped last night and thank goodness it was not a late night. But I just wanted to sleep. But I got up, got ready and went.

I think I need some motivation to not miss 1 during this 100 days. I will have to think of a reward to give up if I skip a boot camp....hmmm...what do I want??

Things to work on....I need to journal my food. Always been a problem. Need to just make it a habit.

Day 2

bootcamp...check

Day 1 went well. Didn't blog. sorry. already not a great start.

I need to keep with this, I am taking 2 steps forward and 1 back..blah blah. enough. I will turn 33 shortly after this 100 day challenge is done. I really want to be in a better place. I feel that I am in a good place now and I want to keep with this. I need to remember the feeling I have after bootcamp. Love that group. great people. great motivators!

Day 0

Going to take the next 100 days to challenge myself to do better at getting healthy. Today was not a great day so I am going to start tomorrow....always easier to start a good thing the next thing day, right?

I figured out that basically summer will be over in 100 days and I want to see a difference in myself. So starting June 7th, 2010 and ending September 14, 2010 will be my 100 day challenge. I know there are other blogs out there that do something like this but this is for me. I will set my goals and rewards.

Goals:
Bootcamp - I can miss only 5 times this summer...not including the week we are gone to mn.
Eating - NO MCDONALDS!! eating the fruit and veggies that are going to be in my CSA basket...I can't wait to start getting this.
Budget - updating and staying on budget. I need to start saving more.
Journal- I will blog about this fun adventure!

100 days...I can do this. Wish me luck.

it was great.

I had nothing to be nervous about.

It was our same fun and great workout that we had indoors but outside along the lake. The ladies are always such an inspiration to workout along side. My favorite workout partner was also back today, Cindy. I can't wait for the next one.

I just need to not let my little non-workout devil that sits on my shoulder in the morning win.

I also hit my weight goal that I set for this first tues of the month. YAY!

nervous.

I am so nervous for outdoor bootcamp to start tomorrow. Not sure why. I have heard nothing but good things. I better head to bed early so I am ready to kick butt tomorrow morning.

Bucket Night.

This weekend we had a Bootcamp Bucket Night at one of the ladies house. It was so much fun. It was great when someone showed, someone would comment how good they looked. We are used to seeing each other right out of bed, in work out gear with maybe a headband on.

Just about when I was going to stop doing boot camp for awhile, I was invited to this night. I am so glad that I went. I remembered why I liked going in the first place. I need to forget about the things we actually do and just think about all the great friends I have made in this class.

Tomorrow we go outside!

I really wonder why I ever stop going to bootcamp after a workout like today's. It was a good workout and actually some fun! Next week we start outdoor bootcamps in the morning. I have heard this is so much better then the indoor. I started the week after we went indoor. I think this will be a good change.

back in the saddle

I have been lame. Very lame.

I need to get my head back in the game. This is it. I enjoy boot camp. I love the ladies in it. I don't know what my problem is. I just need to get my butt out of bed and get there. I am totally happy when I go. I need to remember that!

My dear husband bought me new weights as incentive....guilt trip...bribery. Debated on the 20lbs but I went with the 15s.

Time to head to bed...so I can go to boot camp. :)

Day One of a Stellar Week

I am drinking my 4th one of these today.
That will make 92oz of water for the day.
Stellar.

Tomorrow is bootcamp.
I can't wait.
I have missed the ladies as well as the workout.

Dinner tonight consisted of Pork Chops in the Crockpot.
Excellent. I love my crockpot.
I need to make it to the grocery store after bootcamp in the morning -looking fabulous I am sure:)
Tomorrow night is turkey chili and cornbread.

1 Stellar Week

Tiffany is doing a great challenge to set some goals to have a stellar week. She is even giving a neat book as a prize. After falling off the band wagon for a couple of weeks I am so ready for this.

My stellar week will consist of....
water, lots of water
3 days of boot camp
and
No dinners out - meal plan is set for each night.

Core Plus.

I joined a sat morning workout called Core Plus. It is taught by one of the great trainers that Dustin has for his bootcamps - Marsue. Her nickname is the Silent Killer. The class will be every sat morning for 4 weeks. The best part is that my sister decided to join with me. She moved in about a month ago from New York.

It did not take too much convincing to get Anna to come with me. But our motivation is if we make it to all 4 Core Plus classes we will get an Aveda Facial :)

Class was good this morning. We did a lot of different things and some I have never done before. That is one of the nice things about the boot camp classes. There is always something new to challenge us.

This will bring me up to working out 4 times a week and for a special they are offering a free karate/ kickboxing class for taking the core plus class. Have to check that out this month.

Yay for the weekend.
Boo for working at the restaurant tonight.
The money will be nice.
Best part of being a server...leaving with cash.

Went to the chiropractor yesterday.
I had hurt my shoulder in boot camp that morning.
No I idea what I did but I could not take the headache anymore.
Thank goodness he was able to fit me in the afternoon.
Very glad I went. I actually have to go back again today since it was so tight.

Plans for the weekend - laundry (boo), scrapbooking, and a trip to chuck e cheese.
Katelyn has been asking...begging to go there for about 2 months now.
I need to get a reward chart going so she can work towards another visit to the CEC

Speaking of reward charts....I think I will start one for myself. Right now I have it set so when I lose X number of lbs. I get a reward. But I think I need to change it where I go to x number of boot camps and I get a reward. The lbs will come off the more I go. hmmmm have to think about how to do that.

2010.

Goodbye 2009.

Welcome 2010.

2009 was good to me but I have a good feeling about 2010.
To sum up 2009 I would have the say...'the start'
It was the start of a new budget for us.
It was the start of a new workout routine for me
It was the start of new things happening at the shop.
All good things to start and keep up in 2010.

I have not made a resolution for 2010.
I want to eat better also track more often
Continue to attend boot camp
and
maintain my savings plan.

holidays are done. life is returning to normal.
